Public Meeting Summary

At its public meeting of Wednesday, October 3, 2007, the Board of Supervisors took the following actions:

 

  1. Approved minutes from the October 19, 2007, special meeting to interview candidates for volunteer boards and minutes from the October 19, 2007, public meeting as written;

 

  1. Approved subject to minor changes Ordinance No. 372 amending the Zoning Ordinance to provide for traditional neighborhood development in Edgewood Village;

 

  1. Approved having specifications prepared for Township welcome signs as presented by the Historical Commission;

 

  1. Discussed Open Government Ordinance;

 

  1. Approved RFP for Deer Management Program;

 

  1. Awarded Public Works bids as follows:

 

a.      Leaf Collection – Ken’s Lawn Service and Douglas Scott Landscaping

b.     2007-2008 Consortium Salt Bid – Cargill, Inc.

c.      Snow Plowing and Salting – JD Equipment, Scott’s All Season Inc., McCallister Construction, Green Grass Landscape, Ken’s Lawn Service and Kent’s Lawn and Landscaping

 

  1. Approved extensions of time as follows:

 

    1. Flowers Madany, January 19, 2008
    2. The Gatherings at Yardley (Scott Tract), to February 1, 2008
    3. Woodside Presbyterian Church, to January 5, 2008

 

  1. Will leave the Krautheim request for variance to remove dead trees to the Zoning Hearing Board;

 

 

  1. Made appointments as follows:

     Zoning Hearing Board Member – Anthony Zamparelli

     Zoning Hearing Board Alernate – Keith Dossantos
