Greetings,
The Friends of Five Mile Woods have regular
workdays for volunteers on the second Saturday of each month
(except October). Volunteers are always welcome. Scout and other
community groups are encouraged to volunteer time in the Woods.
Workdays start at 9 am and finish at noon. Typical projects
involve pruning, trail lining, building and repair projects,
and hosting events. We frequently take time out to enjoy and
learn about nature. We also are looking for volunteers interested
in guiding tours through the Woods. Training is available."
