Clean Earth of Southeastern PA has applied for renewal of their waste permit in Falls Township. Due to its proximity, this also affects LMT residents.
Clean Earth incinerates petroleum contaminated soil. The are currently allowed to bring in 2400 tons daily (100 truck loads) of contaminated soil. 80% of the processed soil is used locally, to top Waste Management’s landfill in Falls Township.
The PA Department of Environmental Protection is currently accepting comments regarding the renewal of Clean Earth’s waste permit. Comments should be sent to:
