Comcast is nearing completion of its multi-million-dollar network improvement project in and around Lower Makefield Township. These improvements will support faster speeds, greater internet capacity, and the continuing enhancement of services for local businesses and residents.
Comcast will begin the last phase of this project on or around October 1, 2019. This will entail removal of legacy above-ground green utility boxes (pedestals) placed throughout the community. The majority of these pedestals are located in rear easements. This work, which will be performed by qualified Comcast Business partners, will not require underground construction. Weather permitting, Comcast anticipates full completion of this project within five to six weeks.
Thank you to all residents for your cooperation and patience during this important project that will make our community even more desirable to prospective homeowners and businesses. Comcast also thanks the Township Public Works team for their partnership on this project.
If you have any questions related to a pedestal removal, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include full contact name, address and best contact number. A Comcast team member or partner will respond within the next business day to resolve any concerns.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding work being performed by the Comcast crews, please contact Susan Rubinacci at the LMT Public Works Department at 267-274-1130 or email@example.com.
