Lower Makefield Youth Committee

Welcome to the LMT Youth Committee Webpage

Mission Statement

Our mission is to organize leadership, community service, and recreational opportunities for and by the youth in our community and make recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Board.

Members

Cecelia Quay, Chair

Cecelia Quay is a senior at Pennsbury Highschool. She is a member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Best Buddies, and participates in a unified track team that combines students with and without mental disabilities. In her free time Cecelia volunteers at the Morrisville Food Pantry. Cecelia lives in Lower Makefield and is eager to work with the community and encourage her peers to become more involved. 

Ethan Huegler

Ethan Huegler is a senior at Pennsbury High School. Through Boy Scouts he has served the community since joining in first grade and has achieved the rank of Life Scout. In school, Ethan is Managing Director of the award winning Pennsbury Sea Falcons Submersible Robotics Team and a member of the varsity lacrosse team. He is also a member of the National Honor Society which has given him opportunities to volunteer with the Special Olympics . Ethan lives in Lower Makefield with his parents, younger brother, older sister, and dog. He is excited to create new opportunities for his peers to participate in the community!

Noah Erdogan, Treasurer

Noah Erdogan is a Senior at Pennsbury High School. There, he is a member of Young Engineers Club, Mathletics, and the tennis team. He also mentors a student through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County. Outside of school, Noah is a member of Teens for Trenton Area Soup Kitchen and volunteers at a hospital. He enjoys playing basketball and tennis and being active. Noah lives in Lower Makefield with his parents and two sisters and is looking forward to working with his peers to improve his community. 

Adam Christopher

Adam Christopher is a Junior at Pennsbury High School. Adam is part of the Pennsbury baseball team and volunteered with the Pennsbury Magik program. In Adam’s free time, he gives math tutoring lessons and hanging out with friends. Adam lives with his Mom, Dad, brother, and two dogs. He cannot wait to help and support the community!

Priya Deliwala

Priya Deliwala is a senior at Pennsbury High School. She is a member of the Pennsbury Marching Band, Symphonic Winds, and Community Band as a flute player. She also plays piccolo in the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County. She will be inducted into the National Spanish Honors Society and has received the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership scholarship with which she will attend a conference. She enjoys public speaking as a part of the Speech and Debate Forensics team and has ranked at two national qualifying tournaments. She lives with her parents and sister in Lower Makefield and is thrilled to have an opportunity to impact her community.

Patrick Weng

Patrick is a junior at Pennsbury High School. He is a member of the Pennsbury Forensics team and the Pennsbury Boy’s Tennis team. He enjoys teaching children how to succeed on the tennis court and in the classroom. Patrick plans on giving back as much as he can to the community that has given so much to him.

Objectives

  • Our first objective is to involve Lower Makefield youth in community service opportunities.
  • Our second objective is to increase and improve communication between youth community service organizations in Lower Makefield, in order to encourage youth involvement in the community.
  • Our third objective is to organize recreational activities that bring together youth in the community.
