Veterans Square Monument honors hometown heroes – servicemen and women who have been residents of Lower Makefield Township. All known veterans are incorporated into the Wall of Honor. It was was dedicated on Nov. 9, 2014, and is located at 1660 Edgewood Rd. at Corner of Heacock Road, Lower Makefield.
The momument was designed by Brian Mann, Omnia Group; Bronze eagle “Freda” designed by Robert Girandola; and built by Premier Builders, Lower Makefield Location.
The goal of the Veteran’s Square Monument was to create a timeless monument to honor veterans while making Veterans Square an attractive park where residents can gather with family, friends, and neighbors for both public and informal events. It is an opportunity to educate the children of our community about the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women in a fun, interactive manner.
