The Financial Advisory Committee’s (FAC) mission is to review the performance of selected processes, conduct analysis and develop recommendations related to financial strategies that will have a positive impact on taxpayers in Lower Makefield Township (LMT). Our primary focus is to serve the Board of Supervisors and citizens of our community by being an extension of their vision. With this in mind, the FAC will objectively review processes to ensure that they are efficient and effective, while focusing on possible revenue enhancements and cost savings wherever possible.
The FAC will work with and provide assistance to any other LMT Committees with regard to purchasing, receivables, payables and cost/benefit analysis while providing recommendations that will be cost effective and in the best interest of the township and the taxpayers. The FAC will provide their recommendations to the Lower Makefield Township Board of Supervisors, Township Manager and Finance Director at meetings and through written communication and not during public comment unless it has the consensus of the FAC.
