Community Center
The Lower Makefield Township Community Center is the hub of activity. The Center opened in 2018 and offers a wide variety of programming for the community at large. This facility is the home of the LMT Seniors, The Quilters Guild and the Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition community groups like the girl scouts the boy scouts and local sports leagues, etc... rent the facility for a variety of meetings and events. This is also the home base for the Parks and Recreation Department. Community Center Available Space • Main Hall, capacity 234 for assembly and 149 with Tables o can be divided into 2 each half has a capacity of 117 for assembly and 75 with tables); • 1 classroom capacity 23, 1 classroom capacity 31 • Kitchen facilities available. The Parks & Recreation Director or designated representative may approve use of the facilities by responsible parties who meet the necessary requirements and pay the required fees.
