Levels and Descriptions
Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills
Perfect for first-time swimmers, this beginner class helps children feel comfortable in the water while learning basic safety skills. Participants will practice water entry and exit, supported floating, face submersion, and introductory arm and leg movements—all through fun, guided activities.
Level 2: Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills
Designed for swimmers who are comfortable in the water, Level 2 builds independence by focusing on unsupported floating, gliding, coordinated strokes, and rhythmic breathing. Students also learn treading water and basic water safety techniques.
Level 3: Stroke Development
This level introduces and refines strokes including front crawl, backstroke, and elementary backstroke, while introducing breaststroke and dolphin kick. Swimmers improve coordination, endurance, and deep-water comfort, with continued focus on safety and technique.
Level 4: Stroke Improvement
For more experienced swimmers, Level 4 focuses on perfecting all major strokes—including butterfly basics—and developing stamina, flip turns, and advanced treading. This level prepares students for swim team development or more advanced aquatic programs.
