Lower Makefield Township is replacing the almost 60-year-old South Drive Culvert over Silver Creek. This planned and budgeted $256,000 replacement project will be a much-needed improvement to the existing infrastructure which outlived its useful life. Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction starting Monday, September 18 thru Monday, November 6 as South Drive will be closed and detoured between Countess Drive and Woodland Drive. Access to the homes within the closure area will be from the respective side of the closure area.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Countess Drive, Kings Road, Edgewood Road, and Woodland Drive.
