Pennsylvania American Water is investing in our neighborhood!
They are replacing 2100 feet of aging 6" pipe that was installed in the 1950s with new 8" ductile iron pipe, along with new copper water supply services for our customers, in coordination with a road resurfacing project to-be completed by Lower Makefield Township.
Pennsylvania American Water's main are of focus for this project will be Makefield Road, from Edgewood Road to Sutphin Road.
Weather permitting, our contractor, Caddick Inc, will begin the week of April 28th. Final mill/overlay to be completed by Lower Makefield Township contractor over the summer.
9 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday. Work on weekends, evenings and holidays is not expected unless required to maintain project schedule.
